Hi all.

It's going to be a noisy weekend on the radio.  

The SSB version of the CQ World-Wide DX contest is this weekend (8 pm Friday to 8 pm Sunday, local time).  Well over 100 countries will be on the air.  

Multipliers are countries and CQ zones.  Just work USA stations once per band for the country mult or to get zones 3,4 or 5 on each band. USA contacts are mults only; they are zero points.  NY stations are zone 5.  Give everyone a 59 report even if you can barely hear them (tradition, and contesting software auto-fills 59).  No WARC bands.  Sunday is great for smaller stations; the big guys (who will have worked almost everyone by the afternoon) will take the time to dig you out if you're a new one.
